Women Ensuring Conservative\/Masorti Jewish Education<\/span><\/p>\n

Torah Fund supports scholarships and programs in the worldwide Conservative\/Masorti institutes of higher Jewish learning. The dedicated philanthropy of the Women\u2019s League for Conservative Judaism, Torah Fund has raised nearly $106 million in its 79 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

More than 35 years ago women changed the Conservative Movement to become rabbis and cantors in synagogues, and over the years, our donors have had an important role in the perpetuity of Conservative Judaism.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the past several years, funds raised by Torah Fund have gone toward scholarships to all the schools. There are continuing opportunities for sisterhoods and individuals to provide support to all four institutions through Torah Fund. Thousands of dedicated volunteers have contributed to the spiritual, esthetic and material well being of these educational communities by supporting Torah Fund projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

General Campaign<\/span><\/h2>\n

As in the past, this year\u2019s campaign supports scholarships and programming at The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York<\/a>,<\/u> Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles<\/a>, Schechter Institutes of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem<\/a>, Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano in Buenos Aires<\/a>, and The Abraham J. Heschel Seminary.<\/span> in Potsdam,Germany<\/a>. Help strengthen Jewish education and ensure the vibrancy of the Jewish people for decades to come, with your gift to Torah Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n
